Family Crisis Center History

The Family Crisis Center has been serving individuals and families in Randolph County for more than four decades. Founded in 1978, our agency began as Randolph County Women’s Aid in response to the growing need for services supporting survivors of domestic violence and family violence.

Over the years, the agency has expanded to meet the changing needs of our community, growing from a shelter program into a comprehensive organization providing advocacy, emergency shelter, crisis response, child advocacy services, case management, and community education.
