The Family Crisis Center provides safe, confidential emergency shelter for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, or other unsafe situations.
Our shelter offers a secure environment where survivors can find immediate safety while working with advocates to plan their next steps. During their stay, residents have access to advocacy, safety planning, basic necessities, and connections to community resources.
Shelter services may include:

Can my children stay with me?
Yes, children may stay in shelter with their parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children's supervision while staying in shelter. Our staff can provide support, resources, and guidance to help families during their stay.
What if I do not have transportation?
FCC will discuss available transportation options and resources when possible.
Is the shelter location confidential?
Yes. Shelter location information is kept confidential to help protect residents.
Can I come to shelter if I don't have identification or personal belongings?
Yes. Your safety is our priority. Please do not delay seeking shelter because you do not have identification, important documents, or personal belongings. The Family Crisis Center will work with you to help obtain clothing, replacement identification and important documents, and other basic necessities as resources are available.
